Good bye Nikita, We miss you....
Well some bad news about one of our dogs…. Nikita was having issues and it was decided that it would be best if she was put to sleep. It was a tough decision, she was 11 years old and the years were taking their toll on her. She had major knee surgery because she blew out her knee running through a screen door. I think because of her not being able to move with out pain was because of that. It got to the point where she would cry because it was hurting her just to get up. I guess it was for the best so that she wouldn’t be living in pain.
We miss her but at least she is in a better place….

Luger our other dog
We thought for sure that Luger would have some separation anxiety but he seems to be doing pretty good. Every now and then it seems as though he’s expecting Nikita to come in when we come in through the garage door. I’m sure he likes all the extra attention he’s been getting now….
